Whether it's concrete, white marble, colored marble or black, always start with 3 plane values, then work in details such as stippling for gritty texture on concrete and stone, or a vein structure for marble.

Control of your PROFILE line is
critical as it will help to indicate a smooth or roughly textured surface.

Cobblestone is very rough. Keep this in mind when you manipulate your line work to add that character.
